Brett, I am so sorry that you are sad. I know how it feels to lose a loved one, especially a pet, and I hope that you can find meaning and closer in your loss. Part of being a writer is finding the meaning in the common experience, and I think you do a good job of expressing feelings a lot of people might have. Expand those feelings into a larger narrative, not only with a pet or loved one but with your day-to-day experience. You've got a great start to your blog but I would love you to take more chances and expose yourself as a writer. -Lyle
